Ferrari eliminated the hybrid system from the road car and reworked the 2,992cc twin-turbo V6 to produce 700 cv, improving weight, reliability, and throttle response for racing use. Advanced aerodynamic development allows the car to generate up to 870 kg of downforce at 250 km/h, a major step forward in performance and cornering capability. Debuting in the 2024 Ferrari Challenge Europe and North America, the 296 Challenge represents the ninth generation of Ferrari's single-make race cars and showcases Ferrari's direct transfer of motorsport technology to customer racing.
