It was a fun weekend in sunny Austin despite Vettel’s record-setting eighth consecutive win. The Circuit of the Americas, nestled in the Texas countryside outside of downtown Austin, was a great place to hear the F1 engines zoom by. It seemed as though almost everyone that attended was cheering on the men in red. Forza Ferrari!

The weekend was a great introduction of the new Algar Hospitality program. Clients were properly welcomed into Texas with Ferrari encrusted Stetson cowboy hats. Algar Hospitality was there for them during their entire weekend stay. We even got a special opportunity to attend the North American unveiling of the 458 Speciale hosted by Marco Mattiacci.

The new 458 Speciale boasts some impressive innovations and is said to satisfy even the most performance-oriented owners. Not only do the performance numbers entice us, but trust us, the 458 Speciale looks good in Tour de France blue! Mattiacci said it best, “We are very happy to be able to present this amazing car right here in Austin while the city is hosting the United States Formula 1 Grand Prix. The 458 Speciale expresses the synthesis of Ferrari’s sporting spirit and technology and there could no better way to launch it than alongside a race which is part of the highest level of motor sport and technology.”
